Apron Quilt

OK- if I hadn’t seen the sample of this quilt in all it’s cute glory – I never would have purchased the pattern – but it sews up SO NICELY!! They just should have maybe spent a little more on photography – no?

This quilt from the Acorn Quilt Company is really cool! I love the way the blocks are set diagonally (rather than ‘on point) and the sashing in the middle – super cute! And you know I will be using some wool!

Shownotes for Episode 5

The latest podcast is now available – and of course, the requisite
show notes are below!  I talked about a lot of different items in this
episode and will try to provide either photos or links to everything!

First off – the BEST $ store in the world – Ichiban Kan – ‘different things’ – check out the blog listing – here! that is really a great description with some great pics.

Here are some of my Japan town purchases!

On the left are the cute little baby pins (that will not actually be used on any of my babies…) and on the right are those weird little tooth things.

This is the little organizer that is likely for a couch – but works great on my awesome table.

The Japanese Applique book with a few pages examples. Sorry these photos aren’t the greatest – I was fighting against the clock of a dying camera battery…

The camera did die – so no photos yet of the third book   And just to
let you know – I started this posting at 8am and it is now 3pm  between
all of the normal, daily interruptions, it appears that I need to
schedule a full day when putting up a podcast!
