My new applique pattern is almost ready!!

Remember when I said on my podcast that I was designing a new applique pattern?

Otherwise known as ‘Blender’ Fabric – These are great for borders/change of color value/and well, I guess whatever it is we ‘blend’….

Civil War Era Bundle added to the de-stash list!

Slowly but surely; I am putting together cute little bundles of fabric that I believe,  hope,  no believe go together in terms of ‘type’.

You know like, Civil War, Shabby Chic, Tone on Tone, and Neutrals… And of course, plenty more color based combinations to come…

On one of the Episodes (which one? I really don’t remember but I think it was 51)  I spoke about creating my own ‘fabric’ by piecing and cutting and cutting and piecing until you end up with a totally random piece of fabric….

and you can turn it into anything you like.  I made this:

And soon I will be showing you how to do it as well because that is the next project for BEEN There DONE That!
