BEEN there DONE that Community

Welcome to The BEEN There DONE That! Community.

This community was started because I have so many magazines/idea books/patterns/bookmarked websites/beautiful blog-o-sphere/ inspiration material and yet….  Not materializes from these.

Generally – I read one of the above and say to myself, ’self, that is very neat/cool/awesome/beautiful etc. I should make that’ and then… well …. As I said, nothing materializes.

I had BEEN There but I had not DONE That.

And then the day came when I made a commitment to myself to dig out all of those items and re-read and take notes!  Notes in a separate little book where I now keep all of my notes.  Whatever had inspired me in the past will be made in the future – I am determined.

So – I invite anybody and everybody – quilting/embroidery/Japanese cutenesses/ softies/and just crafters to come along for the ride.

I will be posting tutorials (and already have) of some of the BTDT inspired projects that I do. I even invite you to help choose them by participating the polls for the viewers choice tutorials!

Lots of giveaways and fun to be had.

BUT we need a home for everyone in our community to have a spot to share THEIR BTDT lists/progress/pictures/ etc…  And that time has come.

A website called ‘BIG TENT’ is the place for us. I created a group called, yup, you know it.

I have sent out a limited number of invitations to begin with – so that any kinks can be worked out in small batches.

If you are one of those people – please – I invite you to start posting away – creating your own forum topics in the main page and even create your OWN subgroup where you can post your own news and photos and everyone can share.

It’s exciting, I know.

    OK, I want to vote in the poll. Are there pictures of the choices or am I too stupid to find them? Do we just go by the description? Yikes, help me girlfriend!

    Hehe. Pictures would mean that I have already created these projects – which, I haven’t. So if you the blog post that it titled ‘The choice is Yours…” you will get more of the description needed to make your choice!

    I am concerned about joining the forum because of the amount of ads. Every time I take a look around, the ads are relentless.
    Is there a way to minimize the ads?
