I’m not sure where this is going – but I am having fun getting there! The GO! cutter hexagon die is my current favorite!
For some of the hexagons – I sewed the smallest to the middle sized and the cut in half and sewed different pair together.
Others, I left alone (ie solid hexagons). I am glad that I like the look better! Less work:)
Mix in a couple of tumbling blocks and it’s all fun! I am even learning to love Y seams:)

Wow! These are fantastic!
Hi! I am a new listener- and already feel like we are best friends!
Trying to catch up on a lot of what I have missed over the first 48 or so podcasts- and can’t put your podcast down! I love love love it!
I am not new to sewing, but just upgraded to a bernina 230 PE and am trying to “re-learn” some of my tricks. I make children’s smocks, crayon cubbies, dresses for my daughter, and a few other bags, odds and ends. I am trying to learn to quilt on my own, but have a LOVE with fabric, so I get sidetracked making other odds and ends, and so the process of learning and created goes on….. and on……..
Also a mom of two young children, a boy and girl, and lover of all things crafty!
Fondly,
