BEEN There DONE That (the tutorial that is…) Seams of Opal Part 3

Can I get a hallelujah?  Holy Crow I finally managed to record (not able to edit much – sorry) and figure out the newest software enough to get the next installment out of my hands and into yours!

I am certain the we can only get better from here…

Thanks to everyone for your patience!

Watch the video because there is a hidden GIVEAWAY in there! First one to answer a question posed within is the winner of something so fabulous I can’t even tell you.  (I’m sure loyal listeners know that this is actually because I haven’t the foggiest idea of what it will be yet but it will be GREAT, I assure you!)

  2. nope, not a hippo!

  3. Is it a frog?

  4. It’s a cow with a couple of extra udder things!

question,……..so we trim all 3 layers evenly? I get that we add 1/4 inch….but all 3 layers get that extra 1/4 inch?

Thanks for all the effort you had to go thru to get up the tutorial!!

  5. It looks like a frog to me too!

  6. Yohandy – you are indeed correct! It IS a frog, although I think Gail’s cow is probably more like it!

Please contact me at mail@withinaquarterinch.com to claim your fantabulous prize!

In answer to your question about the 3 layers – yup, all three evenly. We’ll get to the bulk of the batting in the next phase. Stay tuned!

And your are all very welcome! I am so happy to have this one off of my (mind) plate.

  7. I would have never thought about using the little decoratie wood cutouts. I need to go to Hobby Lobby or Target now and get some little packages. That idea is so cool!

The video was well worth the wait. Thanks

  8. Great tutorial Al. The wait was easy for me – I still haven’t finished my 4 little blocks! I think I am a slow stitcher. :)
Volume was good on this one too – I didn’t have to use speakers or ear-buds. So whatever you did, keep it up!
Thanks for all your hard work in getting this on the net.
